Another day, another brew. And seeings that today has been incredibly long it is only fitting that I end it with one of the best beers around. Today I've got Founder's Centennial IPA. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I have really been looking forward to this one.Fun fact for this beer: It was chosen as "a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judging." Pretty neat eh? It honestly makes sense that this beer has become the standard. Everything about this beer is exactly what you want from an IPA. You've got the citrusy notes from the dry-hopping stage. There is a sweetness to it from the malt. And the bitterness is perfect for my taste. The way they put everything together in this beer is so well done. If this is on the menu wherever you might be, you need to try it.
So far the week of IPAs has been awesome; and there is still one more day left. I don't have too much to elaborate on today, possibly from a combination of writer's block and a 7-hour work day Saturday. I will return to regular post form tomorrow after some well needed R&R.
Now the only task left for today is to keg some homebrew. Pics to come later. Cheers!Founder's Brewing
